This program will introduce you to a dozen major tourist sites in Provence and Occitanie (Languedoc): historical and artistic cultural discoveries, remarkable natural sites and free time in the heart of the towns to experience the gentle way of life in the South of France. This tour is aimed at mini-groups of 8 to 19 people maximum, who are looking for non-standard accommodation with character and authenticity, in the privileged setting of a reduced number of visitors.

Meet your guide at the old port for a guided tour (approx. 2h00) of the historic Panier district and the old port.

Then, join your guide for a guided tour of the permanent collection of the Musée des Civilisations de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée (approx. 1h30 to 2h00)

Afternoon: board Marseille's little train for a panoramic tour of the city, taking in the incredible view from Notre Dame de la Garde, our "good mother".

Cruise in the heart of the Calanques National Park

Imagine... You're on board, rocked by the waves..
A string of small ports unfolds, each with its own unique charm.
Carried by the sea breeze, awakened by the play of light and the striking contrasts, your gaze lingers on Cap Croisette: the starting point for a mineral and luminous escape.
Sormiou, Sugiton, Morgiou, En-Vau, Port Pin, Port Miou, Cassis..
These names sound like a promise.
Here, you don't just explore the Calanques: you feel them, you live them, you melt into them.
Every cove, every cliff becomes a living chapter in your journey.

Avignon, Palais des Papes and Pont saint Benezet

Drive to the Palais des Papes (1.3 km) for an audioguided tour of this magnificent palace. Thanks to the histopad, you can discover the sites of the Palais des Papes and the Pont Saint Benezet on your own, and at your own pace.

Lunch and afternoon at leisure (an optional lunch cruise on the Rhône is available)

Return to hotel and dinner at leisure.

From Avignon to Béziers

Meet your guide and depart for the Pont du Gard, one of the world's largest surviving Roman aqueducts.

Arrive at the Pont du Gard, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Free time to admire this masterpiece of Roman engineering.

Drive to Montpellier (approx. 1h drive)
Drive through the Languedoc garrigue countryside to Montpellier.

Tour of Montpellier (historic center)
Guided tour of the historic heart of Montpellier: Place de la Comédie, Écusson, Faculty of Medicine, Saint-Pierre Cathedral. Mediterranean ambience and urban effervescence in this student city with a rich heritage.

Panoramic drive to the Hérault gorges. Visit to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert
Arrival in one of France's most beautiful villages. Discover this medieval village nestled in the mountains around theGellone Abbey.

Departure for Pézenas (approx. 50 min drive). Guided tour of Pézenas, a town of art and history, renowned for its mansions, craftsmen and its connection with Molière. Stroll through the old town and free time in the craftsmen's boutiques.

Drive to Béziers (approx. 30 min)

From Béziers to Toulouse, via Carcassonne

Visit to Béziers and the Fonseranes locks
Depart with your guide to discover Béziers, one of France's oldest cities.
Panoramic tour including : Saint-Nazaire Cathedral, perched high above the city with a breathtaking view of the Orb and the plain, and the Allées Paul Riquet, the lively heart of the city.
Then visit the 9 locks of Fonseranes, a spectacular group of staircase locks on the Canal du Midi, a major work by Paul Riquet. Take a stroll along the towpath or discover the immersive tour of the site.

Departure for Carcassonne (approx. 1h15 drive). Drive to Aude through the Minervois vineyards.

Visit to the medieval Cité de Carcassonne
Arrival at the Cité de Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Guided tour of the ramparts, Saint-Nazaire basilica, towers and lively streets. Plunge into medieval times, between defensive architecture and the art of living.

Departure for Toulouse (approx. 1h drive)

Visit to Toulouse, the Pink City
Arrival in Toulouse, capital of the Occitan language, city of art and learning.
Guided walking tour:

  • Saint-Sernin Basilica, a masterpiece of Romanesque art
  • The Jacobins Convent and its palm vault
