Follow in the footsteps of Matisse, Picasso, Renoir, Bonnard and Léger and discover the Côte d’Azur through the eyes of the great artists who made it their muse. From Nice to Cannes, via Antibes, Saint-Paul-de-Vence and Vence, each stop reveals another side of the artistic Riviera.

Jour 1 – Nice and Matisse

The colours of Nice

Arrival in Nice and transfer to the heart of the city. Begin with a first discovery of Old Nice, with its colourful streets and the building where Henri Matisse once lived.

Lunch at leisure, followed by a visit to Cimiez, a district long favoured by artists. Enjoy a gentle walk in Matisse’s footsteps and discover more about his life and years in Nice.

The day continues with an in-depth visit to the Matisse Museum, where masterpieces and personal objects reveal the evolution of the artist and his work.

Jour 2 - Antibes, Vallauris and Mougins

In Picasso’s footsteps

Today is dedicated to Pablo Picasso and the places that shaped his creativity on the Riviera. From the Mediterranean coast to the peaceful hinterland, discover Antibes, Vallauris and Mougins, three places closely connected to his artistic journey.

From the ramparts of Antibes to the pottery workshops of Vallauris and the hilltop streets of Mougins, each stop reveals a different side of Picasso’s world, surrounded by the bright landscapes of the Côte d’Azur.

Jour 3 - Renoir, Léger and Bonnard

Three artistic visions

Today takes you on a journey through the work of three major figures of 20th-century art.

In Cagnes-sur-Mer, enjoy a guided visit to the Renoir Museum, set in peaceful surroundings where the gardens and interiors still evoke the artist’s presence.

Lunch at leisure in Biot, followed by a visit to the Fernand Léger Museum, with its bold colours and monumental forms.

The day ends in Le Cannet with a guided visit to the Bonnard Museum, an intimate tribute to the painter of light and everyday life.

Jour 4 - Fondation Maeght, Saint-Paul and Vence

Art, light & inspiration

Head to Saint-Paul-de-Vence and the famous Fondation Maeght, home to one of Europe’s most remarkable collections of modern art. A guided visit takes you through its sculpture gardens, galleries and iconic works by Miró, Chagall, Giacometti and many other artists.

After a walk down to the medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, enjoy lunch at leisure, with the possibility of dining at La Colombe d’Or, the famous restaurant once frequented by numerous artists, painters and actors.

Continue to Vence for a guided visit to the Matisse Chapel, a major spiritual and artistic work created by the painter towards the end of his life.

Return to Cannes for a gastronomic and artistic experience at Da Bouttau, in the heart of Le Suquet. Enjoy the “La Table des Fondateurs” menu, inspired by the menu once shared by the five founders of the Cannes Film Festival, including Picasso and Cocteau, and discover the artistic and cinematic heritage of the Riviera.
